Several rivers reside in the area as well, great for canoeing and fishing and just relaxing. The Pere Marquette River is Michigans finest and promises some of the finest salmon fishing in the state.

Other trails cross country skiing, mountain skiing, biking trails. The White Pine Trail allows you to bike from Cadillac all the way to Grand Rapids.
With all of this public land, West Michigan is a major destination for any outdoors person whether you are a hunter, hiker, camper or fisherman. We are located in some of West Michigans best fishing territory, where you may catch steelhead, panfish and trout and more.
Lake Michigan is only 20 minutes from Branch. Beaches, sand dunes and charter fishing are nearby.
You cant forget the fall color tours. Over 20 fall color tours are mapped out on this side of the state so that you may feast your eyes on autumns show of brilliant color.
Several state parks are nearby including Ludington State Park which has over 6 miles of frontage on the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline.
